We provide quality assured Electrical Engineering, contracting and consultancy services to blue chip clients on various geographical locations across Ireland,UK and Mainland Europe.  We specialise in full turnkey solutions up to and including 275KV in the Renewables sector and other Mission Critical Facilities.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Document Controller will be responsible for the management, control, and maintenance of all documentation related to our electrical installations and data centre projects. This includes ensuring all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with internal standards and client requirements. You will work closely with engineering, quality, procurement, and site teams to support the successful delivery of projects.

Specific Responsibilities:

·       Manage and maintain the document control system for electrical and project-specific documentation.

·       Ensure version control, distribution and archiving of documents such as drawings, technical specifications, method statements and test results.

·       Maintain and enforce compliance with document control procedures and project protocols.

·       Liaise with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to obtain, submit, and track documentation.

·       Assist in the preparation and collation of handover documentation and data packs for client submission.

·       Support quality assurance by ensuring documentation meets company and industry standards (e.g. ISO, client-specific standards).

·       Perform regular audits of document files and logs to ensure integrity and traceability.

·       Train and support team members in document control systems and best practices.

·       Use document management software and tools (e.g. Workpal, AutoDesk and SharePoint) effectively.

Person Specification:

·         Minimum of 1 year experience working within a similar role.

·         Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with MS Office programmes.

·         Strong attention to details and the ability to identify discrepancies.

·         Ability to generate professional correspondence unaided.

·         Display good time management skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload

·         Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and accurately under pressure.

·         Professional and pleasant manner in communicating with internal and external customers.
